3 attractions are very close each. Birdworld is located next of the Koala Garden. You do not need to leave from the exit. When You go to the Birdworld, you must wear the T-shirt with sleeves. Because a lot of birds will fly and stay on your shoulders when you hold the foods which purchase from the counter $3 per bag. The birds will crawl your shoulders or arms tightly. You may hurt. Butterfly sanctuary is a wonderful place, but there is not big enough. Good luck and enjoy everyone. 😁

The kangaroos were awesome and I loved being able to hand feed them. The koalas and quokkas gave us some good laughs with their behaviours and movements.

This is a boutique wildlife experience that gives an opportunity to see crocodiles, koalas, kangaroos, snakes, and other wildlife animals. We did this attraction as part of the 3 - attraction that included butterflies and birds and while this attraction doesn't particularly offer anything unique that you are unlikely to have seen before, it is a nice experience to see more animals. There is a plane wreck nearby and it is conveniently located right next to birdworld which is another attraction included in the 3 attraction pass. There is a cute photo op with a giant koala and you are given some food to feed wallabies although they weren't interested in the food when we were there possibly because it was later in the day when they had already been fed by everybody else that had passed through

My dream to cuddle a koala eventually came true! Loved it, although I felt it was a little rushed. I would have preferred to savour the moment for a minute or two longer as opposed to just holding him, posing for a photo and then giving him back. My life long dream was over too quickly. He sits on your left hand with his clammy bottom, so wear gloves on that hand! The novelty and privilege of holding him was awesome even though it was too brief. The bird world and butterflies were beautiful. I recommend this day trip.

Fun for everyone. We visited on a day where the scenic railway had its maintenance done and there were pretty much no one there making the experience so much better as we had the park to ourselves and the animals were not scared of coming up for pats and feed. They love the green leaves hanging over the fence and the rangers said it was fine to feed them these. Spent a good 40min in there but not a lot to look at but gorgeous little park and I like supporting small businesses and animal parks. My youngest kid loved the visit the most as she could get up close to them and she spent a good 30min just talking to the wallabies and feeding them leaves. We also saw a tree snake and staff removed it safely which was kind of cool. Def recommend for younger kids particularly

The market wasn't much. The Koalas were fun, especially when getting your picture taken with one. Nothing exciting about the other animsls, but there were a lot of fresh water crocs. Birdworld was great. You got to interact with the birds. The butterflies were disappointing since there were no Ulysses there.

Took the glass bottom gondola to Kuranda, held a koala, red kangaroos and wallabies, hand fed parrots, marveled at butterflies and enjoyed the markets. Came back on the railway. It was a day away from the world in a very special place.

the garden in which the wildlife is inclosed is within Kuranda Village, a fantastic area with plenty of local stalls that sell local crafts, snacks and souvenirs. The park is pretty small itself, and well maintained by the keepers. you can pick which part of the whole experience you want to explore, paying accordingly. we decided to focus on the wildlife part, having already seen most of the zoo along the Eastern coast and Sydney. we paid 72$ adding to the usual ticket sell-out, the koala picture as a couple ( for an individual photo you pay less ). usually there is not such a long queue as everywhere else as the place is quiet far from every other touristic place around Cairns ( 25 km from the city ). as soon as your turn, you drop your bags and sunglasses at the main counter, you hold the koala, they take a picture of you with their professional camera + 1 only extra other photo-tool of your own, and then they print out the outcome. it takes overall 5 minutes maximum. if you are fan like myself of this animal, and you have waited so long to live this kind of experience, well 36$ for 5 minutes are better than nothing, but not enough to even realize what its happening. Certainly the animals are not pets, and not even toys to play with, but one more minute to just stay close to them, not even to hold them and bother them too much, would have been appreciated out of the value. then there are kangaroos, snakes, night-life widlife to be along with, and the park itself since it's small and less crowded, is more enjoyable and well-maintened.

The gardens are quite small. You'll see quite a few animals, can hold a koala (costs extra) and can feed wallabys.

We absolutely love this place! Holding a Koala has been a dream of mine and it came true this week! Feeding and take pictures with the kangaroos, army duck to exploring the rainforest and learning the plants, it was a very fun day. highly recommend both Koala Gardens and Army Duck! If fortunate enough to return to Kuranda some day, we will be back!
