Yackatoon is a formal English style garden with extensive lawns and trimmed hedges forming the backbone of the garden, with statuary and rose plantings accenting the expanses of green. A scenic lake, running water, and cool fountains of white marble serve to create an oasis of tranquility against the backdrop of bush land, and through the springtime mass plantings of flowers create explosions of color and send clouds of scent across the 16 acres of grounds.
Yackatoon Gardens offers group bookings for high tea for 10 or more people are offered all year round. Open gardens run from September - December, with $10 entry and high tea available in the Old Dairy Tea Rooms.
