The lookout is accessible by foot or vehicle and provides a beautiful 360-degree panoramic view of York and its surrounds. The annual Australia and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) Day Dawn Ceremony is also conducted from the Mount Brown lookout. Mount Brown is a wonderful setting for a picnic and barbecue.
