Enjoy our entertaining and educational wildlife presentations including, snakes, cassowaries, koalas, crocodiles and more. Take a boat cruise on Hartley’s Lagoon and see crocodiles and other wildlife on our melaleuca wetland and learn about sustainable use and conservation on our crocodile farm tour.
Visit the newly opened ‘Gondwana Gateway’ and learn about the evolution of Australian wildlife in a beautiful forest setting surrounded by the living descendants of Australia’s ancient past. Hartley's Crocodile Adventures is situated on the Captain Cook Highway, on a scenic coastal drive 40 km north of Cairns and 25 km south of Port Douglas. Set in the foothills of the MacAlister Range, in a World Heritage listed area, Hartley's is home to a range of habitat types including melaleuca wetlands, riverine rainforest and eucalypt woodland.
