Wyndham is 3229km north of Perth and is the northernmost town in Western Australia. Wyndham has a population of 1,000. Until 1985 the meatworks was the town's largest industry, but now Wyndham is a service centre for the surrounding pastoral industries, mining, tourism and Aboriginal communities nearby.
