INFORMATION ABOUT KYABRAM FAUNA PARK

The Kyabram Fauna Park is a community run not-for–profit organisation, set in 55ha of natural Grey box woodland. Within this, 33ha are natural and reclaimed wetlands.

The Park has over 160 species of fauna, with approximately 600 individuals on display. A large number of these are migratory birds such as the Sacred Kingfisher and Painted Snipe. Walk-through aviaries allow you to see a vast number of species including: endangered Bush-stone Curlews, secretive Owls, striking Rosellas and raucous Lorikeets.

Other features of the Park include an Environmental Centre, playground (with bbq facilities), numerous viewing hides and a licensed café.

HOW TO GET TO KYABRAM FAUNA PARK

Kyabram is a progressive town situated in the Goulburn Valley, 200kms north of Melbourne. Located midway between Echuca and Shepparton, Kyabram is close to the Murray River.
