Visit Jirrahlinga Koala & Wildlife Sanctuary
Jirrahlinga Koala & Wildlife Sanctuary is essentially a koala sanctuary but does display more than just koala's. Snakes, Blue tongue lizards, lace monitors and kangaroo's are some of the other attractions to be seen as you wander through out the sanctuary.
Here's a great way to make a day of it. Make it an adventurous day out for you and the kids and come via the "Sorrento to Queenscliffe" ferry. The kids will love the ferry crossing, they can stand outside the cabin looking out over Port Phillip Bay, bring your car with you and come visit us at Jirrahlinga, maybe even bring a picnic.
Keeper talks allow you to get up close and personal with the animals. Great photo opportunities.
