Sit back and relax as you journey through the past 150 years aboard an authentic Vintage ‘Talking’ Tram. Be delighted by the grand architecture of Bendigo as your tram tells you about the golden past of the city founded on one of the world’s richest goldfields.
Each tour includes a stop at Australia’s oldest operating tram depot where you will encounter a fascinating range of historic trams dating from the early 1890’s.
The flexible hop-on hop-off tour stops throughout the city giving you the opportunity to explore many of Bendigo’s other living treasures, including the Bendigo Joss House.
The Bendigo Joss House, a Chinese place of worship, was constructed in the late 1860s. Standing for over a century, the Bendigo Joss House is one of the few remaining buildings of its type in Australia and is used to worship Guan-Di, the god of war and prosperity.
Vintage ‘Talking’ Tram services depart half hourly from Central Deborah Gold Mine between 9:30am – 5:00pm and you can hop-on or off at any of the following stops: - Central Deborah Gold Mine - Charing Cross (City Centre) - Bendigo Tramways Depot and Museum - Bendigo Joss House - Lake Weeroona
