The Star, Sydney’s premium entertainment destination, sits on the edge of Darling Harbour and Sydney’s CBD and is just moments from Sydney’s most iconic attractions, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. The Star is the only casino resort in the state.

The Star offers 652 rooms across three beautiful structures - the harbour facing five star business hotel, Astral Tower, the spacious 1,2,and 3 bedroom apartments in Astral Residences, and the five star boutique award-winning hotel, The Darling Hotel and Spa.

A brand new venue to Sydney opening early 2013 is The Star’s Event Centre, which is available for bookings from January 2013. The purpose-built venue will cater for a total capacity of 1,310 business delegates, over three distinct rooms and feature retractable seating, portioning walls and adaptable AV equipment to configure spaces depending on the event type.

With its overall 4000 person capacity, it is designed to host domestic and international meetings, seminars, trade shows, exhibitions and award ceremonies as well as concerts by A-list performers from around the world.
