Glass Artists’ Gallery was established in Paddington 1982 as a need for a venue to exhibit glass as an art form from the initial graduates from the first full time glass course in Australia which commenced at Sydney College of the Arts, Glass Studio, Visual Arts in 1978.
First established as a collective, the inaugural members were: Neil Roberts, Giselle Courtney, Maureen Cahill, Ann Hand, Andrew Neilson, Michael Anderson, Keith Rowe followed by Cherry Phillips.
