Dolphin Swim Australia is the first ever licensed dolphin swim in NSW.
Because of this amazing breakthrough in human/dolphin interaction, DSA
was birthed into existence. DSA utilizes the natural behavior of dolphins to ride the bow waves of boats. participants are placed in the water with dolphins by securing them to a mermaid line, which is strung between the pontoons of a 50ft. catamaran. Once safely secured, the boat tows participants through the water at an engaging speed for the dolphins. The friendly, social dolphins mount the bow and move about the swimmers. It is a great treat for both humans and dolphins alike. The most amazing thing about this particular swim is that the viewer gets to see what it is like to be in the middle of a traveling pod of dolphins.
It is a once in a lifetime experience and promises a view of the dolphins world unlike anything ever witnessed. Dolphin Swim Australia is also proud to be conducting research with the common dolphins. We are now on exciting ground and yielding great results. Until now, there has been very little known about this species of dolphins, and we are finding that we actually have resident pods within the Port Stephens Marine Park boundaries.
